On October 26th, 2023, we had the honor of presenting our groundbreaking project, titled “Voice Conversion for Natural-Sounding Speech Generation on Low-Resource Languages: A Case Study of Bahnaric,” at the 3rd Symposium on Computer Science & Engineering 2023 (SCSE) conference held at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. This project harnesses advanced voice conversion techniques to empower the Bahnar people in their global communication efforts. The focal point of our presentation was the StarGANv2-VC model, showcasing its remarkable proficiency in voice conversion. This cutting-edge technology goes beyond mere sound manipulation; it serves as a bridge connecting voices and cultures, fostering a fresh and meaningful connection between the Bahnar people and the global community. This research was led by Dang Tran Dat, Tang Quoc Thai, Nguyen Quang Duc, Vo Duy Hung under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Quan Thanh Tho.
