
This afternoon, Prof. Tim Baldwin, Provost and Professor of Natural Language Processing at the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, and Melbourne Laureate Professor at The University of Melbourne, honored the URA research group with a visit. Prof. Baldwin delivered an inspiring talk titled “Fact-checking Language Models: Generating the Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing but the Truth”, captivating the audience with his deep insights. The talk delved into the challenges of ensuring factual accuracy in Large Language Models (LLMs), emphasizing the importance of building reliable and trustworthy AI systems.
