On Saturday, May 17th 2025, URA Lite team consisting of Nguyen Song Thien Long, Le Thanh Duy, Le Ngoc Hung Dung, Hua Tue Minh and Pham Le Ngoc Ngan secured the first prize at the 9th Makerthon Programming Competition.
The 9th Makerthon Programming Competition, held in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025, attracted students from over 41 schools and universities who share a passion for programming and innovation. Under the theme “Applications for Learning and Entertainment for Students,” the competition challenged participants to develop algorithms and applications for electronic and mobile devices that enhance learning efficiency, create creative entertainment spaces, and deliver novel experiences for the student community.
URA Lite team developed EnrollMate, a next-generation intelligent chatbot platform designed to support the admissions counseling process effectively, accurately, and with personalization for each educational institution. With EnrollMate, universities can quickly “train” their own distinct chatbot by uploading institution-specific documents such as admissions plans, FAQs, training regulations, and curriculum details.
Unlike systems that use shared data, EnrollMate allows each chatbot to function as a specialized virtual assistant, operating completely independently according to each school’s content and regulations. This approach eliminates the risk of information confusion between institutions while ensuring high reliability and accuracy in each response.
On May 17, 2025, the competition culminated in an awards ceremony at Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry. Among 20 outstanding teams, URA Lite was awarded the First Prize for EnrollMate! The judges recognized EnrollMate not just for its technical innovation but also for its practical application in solving a real-world problem in education.
