11.09.2025: Bridging Research and Reality: Capturing Visual Data at a Construction Project

This morning, three members of the URA Research Group embarked on an exciting field trip to a construction site. Accompanied by Mr. Kien and his partners, we had the unique opportunity to get a firsthand look at the dynamic environment of a live project. The purpose of our visit was to observe and photograph various aspects of the construction process, gathering valuable visual data for an upcoming project.

Smiles Before the Towers

We arrived at 9:00 AM and were immersed in the atmosphere of the site. Our hosts provided a comprehensive tour, during which they highlighted specific details of the construction process. This guided walkthrough was insightful, as it provided a practical context for our research. We learned about different stages of development and the attention to detail required in each phase.

Throughout the visit, we captured a lot of images, focusing on the various elements that will contribute to our dataset. This hands-on experience will be a crucial step in bringing our theoretical knowledge to real-world application. The on-site insights and the visual documentation we collected are essential for our project’s success.

The tour ended around 11:30 AM, leaving us with a wealth of information and a new appreciation for the complexities of construction. This visit not only provided us with the necessary data but also opened our eyes to the potential for innovative solutions in this field.
