On August 11th, 2025, the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the College of Applied Life Sciences, Jeju National University (JNU), marking the beginning of a promising academic partnership between the two universities. The MoU outlines a shared commitment to fostering academic collaboration, promoting research exchange, and expanding opportunities for both students and faculty. Areas of cooperation will include joint research projects, academic staff exchanges, student mobility programs, and the development of collaborative courses in computer science and related fields. During the signing ceremony held at the CSE building, representatives from both universities discussed strategies to leverage each institution’s strengths.
The discussions centered on creating cross-border learning experiences, enabling students to engage in projects that address real-world challenges while benefiting from diverse academic perspectives. With this MoU in place, both HCMUT and JNU are well-positioned to cultivate academic excellence, foster innovation, and contribute meaningfully to the global scientific community.
