On July 11, 2025, at Hall B4 of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), the seminar “Agentic AI: A Journey to Explore the Future” officially kicked off, marking the start of a vibrant 3-day Summer Program at the university. This year’s highlight is the participation of NVIDIA – a global giant in AI and GPU technology. The seminar was divided into two main sessions: a presentation by NVIDIA and another by a university representative – Prof. Quan Thanh Tho.
NVIDIA’s session delivered an in-depth exploration of the application of Agentic AI in industrial practice, the role of LLMs in building intelligent agents, and innovations in leveraging GPU power for AI. Especially notable was a live demo of an AI Agent project, which captured great attention and positive reactions from students. Alongside, Prof. Quan Thanh Tho gave an engaging talk focused on the theoretical foundations of AI, its historical development through different eras, and current trends in AI Agents. His clear, relatable language and practical examples made the session easy to follow and highly engaging for students.
The seminar not only introduced cutting-edge knowledge about AI Agents but also created an interactive space for discussion and learning. The Q&A segment received enthusiastic participation from students, with thoughtful, insightful questions and deep responses that opened up many new perspectives. This interaction greatly enhanced students’ understanding of how AI can be applied in real-world contexts. The first day of the Summer Program concluded with a wealth of inspiration and knowledge. We look forward to the upcoming days continuing to offer valuable and practical content for all students.
